DongYu is a GB/T EV charger manufacturer based in Ningbo, China, building AC and DC charging equipment from 1.75 kW to 480 kW on GB/T 20234 connectors. We supply the complete set — portable cables, wallboxes, pedestal posts and floor-mounted DC stations — as factory-direct products or OEM/ODM programmes for brand owners, distributors and project contractors. Every unit ships with the protection set, enclosure ratings and documentation that GB/T-adopting markets expect.
GB/T charging splits into two families. AC units lean on the vehicle’s on-board charger for long dwell times; DC units rectify inside the cabinet and bypass it.
DongYu builds both, 1.75 kW to 480 kW.
DongYu GB/T AC chargers deliver 1.75 kW to 22 kW through the GB/T 20234.2 seven-pin coupler, with 8–32 A adjustable current, IP55/IP65 enclosures, and optional RFID, LCD and 4G control.
Single-phase 220–230 V platforms for homes and small sites: 1.75 kW and 3.5 kW plug into ordinary sockets; 7 kW hardwires on a 32 A circuit.
Three-phase 380–400 V models for workplaces, fleets and commercial bays. 11 kW draws only 16 A per phase; 22 kW is the fastest AC option before DC.
DongYu GB/T DC chargers use the GB/T 20234.3 coupler and GB/T 27930 CAN communication, from 7 kW wallboxes to 480 kW dual-gun stations with card, QR-code and OCPP 1.6J control.
20–40 kW units for destination and fleet sites: a multi-hour dwell becomes a one to two hour charge, with three-phase input and single or dual gun.
60–180 kW cabinets for retail, hotel and corridor locations. Output of 80–300 A per gun returns hundreds of kilometres of range inside an hour.
240–480 kW stations for highway hubs and heavy-duty fleets: 300 A per gun, a 200–1000 V window, fan cooling at ≤60 dB and IP55/IK08 steel cabinets.
Installation format decides where a GB/T charger can go, how much civil work it needs, and how fast a site pays back.
DongYu builds four formats — portable, wall-mounted, pedestal and floor-mounted — from one platform.

Mode 2 controller boxes rated IP65, 1.75–7 kW, with swappable GB/T input plugs and 8–32 A adjustable current for retail and backup use.

Hardwired IP55 wallboxes at 7kW , 11kW and 22 kW for garages, driveways and office car parks, with optional RFID, Wi-Fi and 4G.

Pole-mounted posts for open bays and forecourts where no wall exists, giving dual-side cable access and a footprint visible from several bays.

Floor-standing columns and cabinets carrying the GB/T DC range from 20 kW to 480 kW, with bottom cable entry and forced-air cooling.
AC and DC GB/T chargers from 1.75 kW to 480 kW, plus charging cables, connectors and cross-standard adapters — an entire charging category sourced through one factory relationship instead of four suppliers.
A 12-month full-unit warranty with free repair and spare parts for non-man-made damage, plus OEM/ODM programmes built to grow with your brand from first container to multi-year supply agreement.
Our Ningbo factory runs five production lines and 200+ employees, integrating R&D, manufacturing and quality control. We also operate live GB/T charging sites, so we specify hardware from operator experience.
Over-load, ground, over/under-voltage, over-temperature and leakage protection on every unit, IP55/IP65 sealing, UL94-V0 enclosures, and certification alignment support for CE, CB, RoHS and TUV Mark.
Charging hardware is often the most visible part of a brand’s energy story. Our OEM and ODM programmes let you ship GB/T chargers that look and behave like your own product, without building a factory.
Print your logo, model naming and regulatory labels on the enclosure, connector head and packaging. We supply artwork templates, colour proofs and pre-production samples for sign-off before mass production.
Choose enclosure colour and finish across our UL94-V0 PC + PA66 platforms, or take a tooling route for a fully custom GB/T housing evaluated for EMC and certification consistency before tooling is cut.
Retail-ready cartons, foam inserts and multilingual user manuals written to your market's requirements, with barcodes, product codes and warranty cards matched to your channel and distributor systems.
Configure plug-and-charge or fully networked operation: RFID cards, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G, with OCPP 1.6J so GB/T stations report sessions, tariffs and faults into your own backend or operator platform.
Send us your target market, GB/T power range, installation format and branding requirements.
Our engineering team replies within 24 hours with a specification sheet, lead time and factory-direct quotation.
Because GB/T 18487.1 and GB/T 20234 define both the connector and the control sequence, a compliant charger and a compliant vehicle complete their handshake before current flows. That is why GB/T units detect insulation faults, confirm the plug is latched and limit temperature rise — protecting the battery, the cable and the driver.
The national standards a GB/T EV charger project is specified and tested against.
| Standard | What it covers | Applies to | How DongYu aligns |
| GB/T 18487.1-2023 | General requirements for conductive charging systems — protection, control pilot and safety logic. | AC and DC charging systems | Charging-system design, protection set and control logic across the range. |
| GB/T 20234.1-2023 | General requirements for connection sets — mechanical, electrical and thermal performance. | Connector and vehicle inlet | Coupler selection, mating-cycle life and temperature-rise verification. |

GB/T chargers serve two very different buying cycles: residential installations bought on price and simplicity, and commercial sites bought on throughput, uptime and revenue. DongYu configures the same platforms for both.
Our 7 kW GB/T wallbox refills a 60 kWh pack overnight on an ordinary single-phase 220 V supply, while the 3.5 kW portable unit travels in the boot. 11 and 22 kW three-phase models suit villas and apartment blocks, and RFID or app authentication stops neighbours from plugging in.
20–40 kW DC units fit hotel and retail parking, 60–160 kW cabinets handle corridor and fleet duty, and 180–480 kW dual-gun stations anchor highway hubs. Card, QR-code and OCPP 1.6J backends cover tariffs, access control and multi-site reporting, while one power stack shared across two guns lifts utilisation per bay.
A GB/T EV charger is charging equipment fitted with the Chinese national GB/T 20234 connector. AC models use the seven-pin GB/T 20234.2 interface up to 22 kW; DC models use the GB/T 20234.3 coupler and GB/T 27930 communication for faster charging.
Not directly — Type 1, Type 2 and CCS vehicles need an adapter or a matching connector. DongYu builds one charger platform in all four standards and supplies Type 2-to-GB/T and GB/T-to-Type 2 adapters for mixed fleets.
Start from dwell time and grid capacity. Overnight home charging needs 7 kW AC; hotel and retail parking suits 20–40 kW DC; corridor and fleet sites step up to 60–160 kW; highway hubs use 180–480 kW.
