When the power is too high for a post, the charger stands on the ground itself. DongYu floor mounted EV chargers carry the DC range from 20 kW to 480 kW in column and cabinet housings, with bottom cable entry, forced-air cooling and IP54 protection — single or double gun, with an optional advertising screen.

Explore DongYu’s floor-mounted EV chargers for commercial, workplace, hospitality, fleet, and public parking applications.
Available in different charging levels and configurations, these chargers can be matched to site capacity, parking layout, charging demand, and installation requirements.
Floor mounted hardware exists because DC power needs somewhere to live. Level 2 covers vehicles that park for hours; Level 3 covers drivers who will not wait. DongYu offers Level 3 floor-mounted DC fast chargers in multiple power configurations to match different charging demands and parking durations.
Level 3 · 20 – 480 kW
The entire floor mounted range. The rectifier sits inside the station, delivering DC 200–1000 V at up to 300 A per gun, so a 20–80 % session takes 20 to 40 minutes. Higher installation cost — dedicated supply, cooling and civil works — buys throughput exactly where dwell time is short.
Our DC floor-mounted EV chargers are available with different power ratings, connector configurations, protection levels, communication options, and installation features. Review the key specifications below to identify the charger configuration that best fits your site and operating requirements.

Answering these questions helps you define the right specification for your site without over- or under-sizing the charging system.
01
A 480 kW column needs a serious three-phase supply and civil works. Check transformer headroom, cable distance from the substation and whether a plinth can be cast where the bays are.
02
Twenty to forty minutes points to a Level 3 column at 40 kW and above. Two hours or more in a bay usually means the site should use Level 2 AC instead — on a wall box or pedestal post, at a fraction of the cost.
03
One double-gun cabinet serves two bays from a single supply drop. Planning bay geometry and cable reach at this stage avoids the classic mistake of siting a column on the wrong side of the bay.
04
RFID, tariffs, scheduled starts, load balancing and OCPP 1.6J back-office control decide whether the installation is a charger or a business. Advertising screen decisions belong here too.
Tell us your market, bay count, vehicle mix and available supply. DongYu will come back with a recommended power step, gun configuration,
foundation detail, OEM or ODM options, and a full quotation covering chargers, cables, accessories and packaging.
A floor mounted column is specified when the site can accept civil works and the vehicles will not wait.
Each application below changes the power step, gun count, payment layer and whether you need an advertising screen.
Think of it as a progression driven by power and where the charger has to stand. Wall mounted is the default where a suitable wall exists and 7–22 kW AC is enough. A pedestal suits open car parks and forecourts where no wall exists but the load is still light — AC, or DC up to about 30 kW. Floor mounted is the format for the DC range proper: from 40 kW to 480 kW, where the enclosure needs to be wider, heavier and better cooled, and where piling or a cast plinth is part of the plan anyway.
The floor mounted range covers 20 kW, 30 kW, 40 kW, 60 kW, 80 kW, 120 kW, 160 kW, 180 kW, 240 kW, 360 kW, 400 kW and 480 kW. Output is DC 200 V to 1000 V with 0–80 A on the compact units, 0–250 A through the 40–160 kW range, and 0–250 A or 0–300 A on the 180–480 kW stations. Connector options across the range are GB/T, CCS1, CCS2 and CHAdeMO, with input accepted at 380 VAC, 400 VAC or 480 VAC and 50 or 60 Hz.
Yes. Double-gun models are available from 40 kW upwards, with the compact 20 kW and 30 kW units supplied as single gun. On a double-gun station the two outputs can share the cabinet’s rated power dynamically, which is usually the most economical way to electrify a pair of bays because one foundation, one supply drop and one controller serve both. Twin-gun is also what makes an advertising screen pay — more sessions per cabinet means more impressions.
The unit is designed for vertical floor installation with bottom in, bottom out cable feeding, so the incoming supply and the outgoing routing both come up through the base. In practice that means casting a plinth or pad at the bay and bringing the supply up inside the footprint — which keeps terminations out of the weather, clear of standing water and away from the driver’s path. Enclosure footprints start at 410 × 223 mm for the compact columns and reach 800 × 680 mm at 480 kW, so we can confirm the concrete detail once the model is fixed.
The whole floor mounted range is rated IP54 and intended for outdoor installation under shelter, with low-noise forced-air cooling. Units are specified for −20 °C to +50 °C and altitudes up to 2000 m, with a quoted MTBF of 17520 hours and ≥ 95 % efficiency. Metering accuracy is Level 2.0 throughout. If your site is coastal, extremely hot or above 2000 m, tell us at quotation stage so we can advise on derating.
Every networked DongYu charger ships with OCPP 1.6J pre-configured, the open protocol used by most charging management platforms, so there is no vendor lock-in and no middleware. Networking is via Ethernet or 4G depending on the model, and live status, charging power, energy delivered, session history and fault codes are all visible remotely. That means faults are usually diagnosed before a technician is dispatched, and firmware updates, tariff changes and unit restarts can be pushed without visiting site.
Manufacturing is IATF 16949 certified and products carry CE, CB, RoHS and TUV Mark, with design compliance to IEC 61851-1:2017 and IEC 62196-2:2016. Protection covers overload, ground, over-voltage and under-voltage, over-temperature and leakage, and we support certification alignment for market-specific approvals. Certificates are available on request during the quotation process.
Standard MOQ for DC floor mounted EV charger is only 1 unit per model for customised production, and sample orders are supported. Lead time is typically around 30 days after specification and artwork approval, with a physical sample approved before volume production. Every charger carries a 12-month full-unit warranty covering free repair and spare parts for non-man-made damage, with in-house bilingual Chinese and English support handling diagnosis and parts dispatch.
