Choose the right DongYu EV charger by charging method, from efficient AC charging to high-power DC charging.
Our solutions support different vehicles, sites, power requirements, and charging scenarios.
DongYu AC EV chargers deliver 1.75 kW to 22 kW from a single-phase 230 V or three-phase 400 V supply, relying on the vehicle's onboard charger to convert AC to DC.
DongYu DC EV charging stations offer a power range of 20 kW to 480 kW. Output spans DC 200–1000 V at up to 80 A per gun, with single- and double-gun options and Ethernet or 4G backhaul.
AC covers vehicles parked for hours; a few DC fast chargers handle visitors who leave quickly — keeping capital cost down without capping throughput.
| Specification | AC EV Charger | DC EV Charger |
| Power range | 1.75–22 kW | 20–480 kW |
| Conversion | Inside the vehicle onboard charger | Inside the charging station |
| Output | AC 230 V / 400 V, up to 32 A | DC 200–1000 V, up to 80 A per gun |
| Charge time | 3–10 hours, full charge | 20–40 minutes, 20–80% |
| Installation cost | Low — standard distribution board | Higher — dedicated supply, cooling and civil works |
| Best for | Homes, offices, hotels, long-dwell parking | Retail, highways, fleets, public networks |
Match charging levels with your vehicle, site, and usage requirements.
DongYu provides EV chargers across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 applications, enabling flexible charging solutions for every project.
Level 1 draws 1.75 kW from a household socket through NEMA 5-15P, 6-20P, Schuko or GB/T three-pin plugs. DongYu portable chargers support this mode with an adjustable 8 A floor, adding roughly 8–12 km of range per hour — ideal for overnight top-ups and rentals.
Our Level 2 EV chargers run at 3.5 kW, 7 kW, 11 kW or 22 kW from a dedicated 230 V or 400 V circuit, delivering a full charge overnight or about 40 km of range per hour at 7 kW. Case B, RFID, IP55 and OCPP 1.6J suit driveways and shared bays.
Level 3 means DC fast charging, with the rectifier inside the station. DongYu Level 3 chargers run from 20 kW to 480 kW at DC 200–1000 V, so a 20–80% session takes 20 to 40 minutes — ideal for motorway corridors, hubs and taxi ranks.
| Level | Power | Supply | Full charge | Best for |
| Level 1 | 1.75 kW | Household socket | 15–20 hours | Home backup, travel, rentals |
| Level 2 | 3.5–22 kW | Dedicated 230 V / 400 V | 3–10 hours | Homes, offices, hotels, fleets |
| Level 3 | 20–480 kW | Three-phase with DC rectification | 20–40 min (20–80%) | Retail, highways, public networks |
Select an installation format that fits your site, infrastructure, and operating needs.
DongYu offers portable, wall-mounted, pedestal, and floor-mounted EV chargers for flexible residential and commercial deployment.

Weighing 3 kg and measuring 230 × 100 × 50 mm, DongYu portable chargers live in the boot and work from any suitable socket. Power options are 1.75 kW, 3.5 kW and 7 kW, with 8–32 A adjustable current, 0–8 hour delayed charging, IP65 sealing and full electrical protection.

Wall mounted is the default for garages, driveways, staff car parks and hotel walls. DongYu wall units cover 7 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW with IP55 protection, UL94-V0 enclosures and Type A + DC 6 mA leakage protection for EU and GB/T markets, or CCID20 for North America.

Where no wall exists, pedestal chargers mount the same module on a free-standing post — suited to open car parks, landscaped forecourts and marina pitches, with the interface at a comfortable height and space for signage or an advertising panel.

Floor mounted column units carry the DC range. The 20 kW and 30 kW stations use a 410 × 223 × 695 mm enclosure or a 410 × 223 × 1551 mm column with bottom entry, forced-air cooling and IP54 protection; the 40–160 kW and 180–480 kW stations scale the same architecture.
Check what the site already has
Assess existing electrical capacity, mounting structures, network connectivity, and available infrastructure before selecting an installation approach.
Match dwell time to power
Consider how long users typically stay and select charging capacity that matches their expected dwell time and energy requirements.
Plan cable routing and access
Evaluate cable distances, routing options, pedestrian access, maintenance needs, and safety requirements to ensure practical installation and operation.
Decide the management layer
Determine whether basic local control is sufficient or whether centralized monitoring, payment, access control, and remote management are required.
Ensure seamless vehicle compatibility with the right connector standard.
DongYu supports Type 1, Type 2, GB/T, CHAdeMO, and CCS charging solutions for diverse EV markets and charging projects.

Type 1 (SAE J1772) is a five-pin, single-phase AC plug used in North America and Japan, rated to 240 V and 32 A. DongYu Type 1 chargers cover 3.5 kW and 7 kW with NEMA 5-15P, 6-20P or 14-50P plugs and CCID20 leakage protection.

Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) is the European standard: seven pins carrying single or three-phase AC up to 22 kW. DongYu Type 2 chargers are offered at 7 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW with TPU cables and locking actuators.

GB/T is the Chinese national standard for AC and DC, with 220 V single-phase or 380 V three-phase input. DongYu GB/T chargers span 1.75–22 kW AC and 20–480 kW DC, tested to IEC 61851-1:2017 and IEC 62196-2:2016.

CHAdeMO is Japan’s DC fast charging protocol, using a dedicated multi-pin connector on a 400 V three-phase supply. DongYu DC stations support CHAdeMO alongside GB/T, CCS1 and CCS2, so one unit serves Japanese, European and American models.

The Combined Charging System adds two DC pins beneath a Type 1 or Type 2 interface — CCS1 in North America, CCS2 in Europe. DongYu CCS chargers deliver DC 200–1000 V at up to 80 A per gun, handling both AC and DC sessions.

| GB/T | China | AC and DC variants | AC and DC | 480 kW |
| CHAdeMO | Japan | Dedicated DC plug | DC only | 62.5 kW+ |
| CCS1 / CCS2 | North America / Europe | Type 1 or 2 plus DC pins | AC and DC | 350 kW+ |
Every networked DongYu charger ships with OCPP 1.6J pre-configured, the open protocol used by most charging management platforms. No vendor lock-in: connect to an existing back office, switch providers later, or run one platform across several suppliers.
Live status, charging power, energy delivered, session history and fault codes are visible remotely, so faults are diagnosed before a technician is dispatched. Push firmware updates, adjust tariffs, restart units and export records without visiting site.
RFID authentication restricts charging to authorised users — essential for shared residential bays, staff car parks, fleet depots and hotel guest areas. Cards can be linked to a driver or cost centre for individual billing and departmental allocation.
Ethernet suits buildings with structured cabling and gives the most stable connection. Wi-Fi avoids new cable runs in retrofit projects. 4G covers remote car parks and uneconomic trenching, with Bluetooth available for local commissioning and diagnostics.
Dynamic load balancing measures total site demand and shares spare capacity across all connected chargers. Cars still fill up overnight while the main fuse is never threatened — frequently removing the need for an expensive supply upgrade.
Fixed-power, fixed-amount and fixed-time modes sit alongside scheduled starts of 0 to 8 hours. Combined with off-peak tariffs and on-site solar, operators shift demand to the cheapest hours and report energy per vehicle, bay or building.
Different parking contexts create different buying criteria.
