V2L stands for vehicle-to-load. A V2L discharger plugs into the charging port of a compatible electric vehicle and turns the car’s high-voltage battery into a portable AC power outlet, letting you run ordinary devices without a generator.
The 3.5kW / 16A model delivers a stable single-phase output suitable for tools, camping appliances, lighting and emergency backup. Actual output is also limited by your vehicle’s own V2L rating.
Many recent EVs support V2L, but it is not universal. Check your vehicle manual for “V2L” or “vehicle-to-load” and confirm it uses a Type 2 / AC discharge port before ordering.
The unit is IP54 rated, protecting it from dust and water splashes, and the 5-metre cable keeps the vehicle and your equipment well separated. Avoid complete immersion and always use it within its rated conditions.
